MSI Gives The GeForce RTX 3090 Ti A Stealthy Look with the New Black Trio Lineup
AMD recently introduced the Radeon RX 6000 RDNA 2 refresh which features an all-black design and there have been new designs in the custom solution market. Now Micro Star Intl. (MSI) has launched a brand new design for its GeForce RTX 3090 Ti graphics card known as the Black Trio.
The MSI GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Black Trio features the same loved Tri-Frozr setup that has been used on the Gaming Trio but now refreshed in an all-black color theme. The silver shrouds has been replaced with a newer matte black texture and the Mystic light RGb has also been scrapped for the sake of minimalism and all black look. The card ships with a full black matte textured PCB while retaining the triple-slot and triple-fan cooling. Underneath the fans is a chonky heatsink which includes several heat pipes and large aluminium heat spreaders.

Specs wise the MSI GeForce RTX 3090 Black Trio retains the same GA102 GPU config of 10752 CUDA cores clocked at up to 1860 MHz boost clocks, 24 GB of GDDR6X memory clocked at 21 Gbps across a 384-bit bus for over 1 TB/s bandwidth, a 450W TGP & a single 16-pin power connector. Display output includes triple DP & single HDMI ports.
Pricing
The pricing for the MSI GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Black Trio card is 256,300 Japanese Yen which converts to around USD1910. Its finally good to see that GPU's are finally becoming cheaper compared to what the pricing was at launch.
