The AMD Ryzen 9 6980HX, Ryzen 9 6900HX and Ryzen 7 6800H will offer 8 cores and 16 threads. The cores are based on the brand new Zen 3+ architecture which is an enhanced Zen 3 core but with the latest additions from TSMC 6nm architecture. The new process will allow to pipe out more power out of the laptops while maintaining a stable temp and not hogging too much thermal headroom. In terms of cache, the chip will boast 16 MB of L3 & 4 MB of L2 cache. 3D V-cache as usual is still some levels away for unlocking in the laptop segment.
