Radeon RX 7900 GRE & 7800 XT GPUs Now Include XFX's All-New "Phoenix Nirvana" Custom Design, Available in White Colors
For Radeon fans, XFX's introduction of the Phoenix Nirvana custom models—which are regarded as an upscale and premium alternative for AMD GPUs—was a surprise. The Radeon RX 7800 XT and RX 7900 GRE, two brand-new variations from XFX that have white flavors, have been released. Initially, the firm concentrated on the more expensive Radeon RX 7900 XTX cards. The Radeon RX 7900 GRE and Radeon RX 7800 XT are the AMD Radeon models that are part of the Phoenix Nirvana white portfolio.
The high-end Radeon RX 7900 XT was previously only available in black, but XFX has now chosen to provide the Phoenix Nirvana enchantment with alternatives in the mid-to-high range. The white equivalents and the black ones are nearly identical in terms of general appearance; XFX only chose to change the color of the GPU shroud. The white Phoenix Nirvana lacks the red RGB highlights that were included on the black variant.
The XFX Radeon RX 7900 GRE & RX 7800 XT Phoenix Nirvana white GPUs measure 33.7 cm in length, 13.2 cm in width, and 5.9 cm in thickness overall. Strengthening the onboard heatsink with the "Ghost Thermal 4.0," which has 216 aluminum fins, eight 6mm copper heat pipes, and a sizable vacuum vapor chamber baseplate that covers the GPU and the VRAM modules, is the main improvement made with these new variations. Easy access is made possible by the magnetic attachment of the onboard fans.
The XFX Radeon RX 7900 GRE and RX 7800 XT Phoenix Nirvana GPUs are obviously not going to have stock clock speeds given the substantial cooling on board. This is also the case with the new white models, as the Radeon RX 7900 GRE variant has slightly higher clock speeds at 2394 MHz boost, while the Radeon RX 7800 XT maintains stock clock speeds. All things considered, XFX's Phoenix Nirvana series is undoubtedly a high-end product, rivaling ASUS's ROG Strix in terms of both performance and design.
When it comes to price, the XFX Radeon RX 7900 GRE Phoenix Nirvana White costs 4299 RMB, or $670, while the XFX Radeon RX 7800 XT will cost 4099 RMB, or $640.
